Annie Adams was appointed by the Board last year, to fill a vacancy for a remaining term, and needs to be voted on to finish the term. She is currently serving as the head of the Fundraising Committee at Unity of Portland. She is currently enjoying her Customer Service Supervisor position at Whole Foods Hollywood. This job is her second career after raising her 2 children and teaching.
Annie found Unity because of a life changing event with the passing of her teen child from Leukemia in 2018. Unity has helped in her healing journey and the community has been such a blessing. Annie and her husband, Marc, lead a Helping Parents Heal monthly support group the third Saturday of every month at the Center. Annie is a Spanish learner on her off time along with taking walks and going to hot yoga.
