The Liberation Lens
Rev. Dr. David F. Alexander has over 20 years of pastoral leadership serving
in Oregon and Georgia. Rev. David has served on several community and
non-profit boards; including for Centers for Spiritual Living, and the
Association of Global New Thought and, the Community of Welcoming
Congregations. In 2021 he was appointed as a commissioner on the
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission for the City of Brookhaven, GA.
Dr. David was inducted into the Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers at
Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA in 2009 and received an honorary
Doctorate of Divinity from Centers for Spiritual Living in 2014.
Dr. David is the author of “Freedom From Discord: The Promise of New
Thought Liberation Theology” and the visionary of and contributor to the
innovative workbook “Recovery from the Lie of Whiteness; a 12 Step healing
approach”
Dr. David’s writings can be found on Substack and in Science of Mind
Magazine. He lives in Beaverton OR with his wife and youngest son.
